Welcome to SPRING IFC Fraternity Recruitment Registration. 

(Men’s Greek Life)

Please read ALL information below. 

**As a reminder you must have a 2.5 GPA (Documented on Transcript) and may not be on Disciplinary Probation.**

1. Recruitment Registration closes on Sunday, January 21st at 5 pm. There will be NO late submissions allowed past the deadline. 


2. You MUST attend a Mandatory IFC Recruitment Meeting on Sunday, January 21st @ 7pm in WILSON 216. At this meeting, we will walk through the recruitment schedule/expectations from the chapters as well as from the IFC.


3. As an individual wishing to go through recruitment, you must complete two hazing modules. If you do not complete them, you will not be able to go through the recruitment process. These must be completed by the Mandatory Meeting.  **Please note: There are TWO courses.



The High Point University Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is excited to introduce two-course requirements for all students participating in the fraternity/sorority experience.  Hazing Prevention: It’s Everyone’s Responsibility 101TM and Hazing Prevention: It’s Everyone’s Responsibility. The Fraternity & Sorority Life Module. This program must be completed by JANUARY 21ST.


Hazing Prevention 101 is an awareness course educating students on how to recognize, prevent and report hazing. The real-life scenarios prepare students, group members, and bystanders to make informed decisions, ultimately empowering them to prevent hazing.


The Fraternity & Sorority Life Module is an extension of the prerequisite course, Hazing Prevention: It’s Everyone’s Responsibility 101™, designed for university students in fraternities and sororities. This 15-minute module dives deeper into the specific needs of fraternity and sorority life.


Register to complete these courses at https://highpoint.prevent.zone/   Completion of the courses is a requirement to participate in recruitment. You will not be allowed to participate in recruitment if this course is not completed. If you  No exceptions. *If you have previously gone through recruitment At High Point University in the past, you do not need to do this module again.

Greek Night at Women's Basketball (January 17th): Qubein Arena: Tailgating begins at 5:00pm and Game at 7:00pm


IFC Spring 2024 Recruitment Schedule:

Check-In/Check-Out: Please plan to arrive at Webb Conference Center, approximately 15 minutes or earlier, before the start of each round to check in with the Interfraternity Council (This excludes Off-Campus night and Bid Day). You will be released to the chapter locations from Webb Conference Center (Building is located across the street from the intramural fields parking lot).

  • Mandatory Meeting - Sunday January 21st in Wilson 216 at 7pm. (Again, YOU MUST ATTEND THIS) 

Meeting Location: Wilson 216
What to Wear: Casual

At this meeting, we will walk through the recruitment schedule/expectations from the chapters as well as from the IFC.

  • OPTIONAL OPEN NIGHT- Monday, January 22nd: 6:30pm-10pm (varies)

Meeting Location: N/A
What to Wear: Casual

This is another OPTIONAL night. Chapters have the ability to open their house to PNMs, please look at their Instagrams and stay in contact with their recruitment chairs to see the times they will be open. You must be registered for recruitment to attend. This is not an IFC event, but rather an informal way for chapters to recruit and PNMs to get a feel for the fraternities (if they desire).

  • NIGHT ONE: ROUND ROBIN-  Tuesday, January 23rd: 6:30pm-9:30pm

Meeting Location: Webb 103
What to Wear: Business Professional (Suit & Tie)

You are required to visit all of the chapters during this round. You will attend each fraternity location with a member from the IFC Executive Board (Stay with your group leader for the entirety of this round). Each round will be 25 minutes and you’ll have 5 minutes to rotate between each chapter house.

  • NIGHT TWO: PNM CHOICE- Wednesday, January 24th: 6:30pm-8:30pm

Meeting Location: Webb 103
What to Wear: Polo and Khakis

You will be free to visit any chapter(s) that you would like, for any amount of time, during this round. You will start in Webb 103 to check in with a member of the IFC Executive Board. You will then be able to attend any fraternity location to continue meeting their members. 

  • NIGHT THREE: INVITE-ONLY ZONING NIGHT- Thursday, January 25th: 6pm-9pm

Meeting Location: Phillips 120
What to Wear: Polo and Khakis

Party attendance is by invitation only. You will then be able to attend a designated location with any fraternity you have been invited back to, for any amount of time. This location may be off-campus, or could also be at HPU. Members of the fraternity are responsible for driving PNMs to their venues, including another fraternity's off-campus venue if you were invited back to more than one. Fraternities are REQUIRED to drive you to another spot if you ask them to. If they don’t, please contact a member of the IFC Executive Board.

  • Bid Day – Friday, January 26th: 6pm
